Jasminum specialist
Since we took over the nursery in 1997 we have made sporadic expansions from the original 4300 square meters to the present 5800 square meters of glass covered green houses and a 4000 square meters of outdoor area for cultivation.
Today the nursery Torben Uffe has 6 full time and 2 part time employees. In the beginning we mainly produced Jasminum. Tradition had it that the nurseries located at the ”Jasminum road” in the city of Langeskov was supposed to produce Jasminum in large quantities. And we did in fact feel obligated to stay true to this popular culture.
For the past 6 years we have never come to regret that decision and we are still increasing our production every year. Earlier this year we entered a corporation with 3 other nurseries to find new and develop new species, which can be cultivated and sold in seasons different from today.
We have never targeted to cultivate one specific culture, which is why we constantly strive to expand our assortment by new niche cultures.
