Fertilizer and lime spreaders

Precision application of fertilizer and lime is of significant importance for securing the best utilisation of the nutrients of the fertilizer and lime. A high utilisation of the applied fertilizer has an environmental impact  with less nutrient losses, and it has also an economical benefit for the farmers. 

Solid or fluid artificial fertiliser can be placed directly under the seed’s germination zone while sowing the grains. This is advantageous as it quickens the effect of the fertiliser (take up of nutrients) and will save energy for extra transport.

In order to avoid over-fertilisation and since the demand of nutrients varies within the same field, it has been proven advantageous to use GPS systems in connection with the application of fertilisers. As a result the output is optimised and at the same time the amount of fertilisers is adjusted precisely to the specific plants’ needs as well as to the soil conditions of the different areas of the field.
