The group visited one of the local advisory centres of The Danish Agricultural advisory Service. Regional Secretary Frans Erve gave a lecture about the organisation and the unique two-level advisory system for farmers in Denmark. Moreover the group was given a lecture about Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) in relation to domestic husbandry in Denmark by an administrative employee from The Funen County.
The delegation visited a local pig producer with 770 year sows, 21.000 heads (7-30 kg) and 360 ha, who had implemented an acidification plant from Staring Miljų A/S to protect the environment from the unwanted effects of ammonia emission. Finally the Japanese got a guided tour at a modern milk producer using the newest milking robot technology for milking.
